On Friday evening I headed over to the Russeck’s home to photograph them with their new baby boy. I typically photograph newborns before they are 10 days old, but due to some health issues their little guy had to spend a week in the hospital which meant we had to push the session back a bit. Luckily, at almost 3 week old he seems to be a healthy boy!

It was so cute to watch how incredibly proud Henry is to be a big brother. It can be almost impossible to get a 3 year old to cooperate with sibling photos. Most times they are having a tough time adjusting to not having all of the attention anymore. Henry on the other hand jumped at any opportunity to hold his little brother or be in a photo with him. Here are some of my favorites from our session.

This time last year I was photographing Grayson as a newborn. Now he is an adorable on year old who is On.The.Move. If his feet are on the ground, then he’s taking off to explore. I think I spent most of the session chasing him or trying to stay ahead of him so I could catch some smiles. These little ones have been taking it easy on me lately so it’s about time a 1 year old gave me a run for my money! I had a blast running around with this little guy!

It was so nice seeing this family again! It’s crazy how much Kaelyn and Grayson have grown over the past year. Enjoy a few of my favorites from Tuesday evening!

Another one of my sweet newborn clients just turned one! I’ve been lucky enough to do maternity, newborn and one year photos for this family. Not only are they (obviously) wonderfully loyal clients, they are so sweet! I’m always greeted with a hug! 

Piper was a piece of cake. It was pretty hot out, but she didn’t seem to mind. Girls tend to give me a run for my money at newborn sessions, and then take it easy on me when I do their one year photos. Piper only cried once when her mommy & daddy took her cake from her, but I’d cry too if someone took away a cake that I was thoroughly enjoying. Here are a few of my favorite shots from our session!
